Privacy Policy

Effective 1/1/2020

This Privacy Statement discloses how Lotus Digital, LLC (collectively with its affiliates, “Lotus Digital, LLC” “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles and protects the information obtained from the users (“users” or “you”) use of www.lotusdigitalco.com (the “Site”).

Lotus Digital, LLC respects your right to privacy.  When you visit our Site, we may collect information on two different levels about your visit:

  1. Anonymous statistics collected as you browse the Site; and
  2. Personal information you knowingly give us.

We want you to be aware of how we collect and handle information on our Site. Please see below for details on our privacy policy:

  1. What information is collected and where is it stored?

Anonymous statistics collected as you browse the Site:

Lotus Digital, LLC may automatically collect anonymous statistics as you browse the Site in the form of cookies and other similar technologies to analyze trends, to administer the Site, improve our products and services, for marketing purposes, for improving users’ experience on the Site, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.  This information includes traffic data, including a user’s IP address, domain server, type of computer, and type of web browser, and movements around the Site.

Personal information you knowingly give us:

Personally identifiable information includes information such as your name or email address.  In general, Lotus Digital, LLC does not collect personally identifiable information from users, except when you knowingly provide such information as the result of the use of one or more of the features on the Site, such as submitting a contact form.

Security and Storage:

Lotus Digital, LLC takes precautions to protect its users’ personal nonpublic information. When users submit sensitive information to us, the information is protected both online and offline. When a login page or form asks users to enter sensitive information, that information is protected with encryption software, specifically SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) with high encryption (128 bit level). While on a secure page, such as the general inquiry form, the lock icon on the bottom of the web browser becomes “locked.” While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, Lotus Digital, LLC also takes steps to protect user information offline. The servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment and encrypted at rest and in transit.

  1. What happens when I provide personally identifiable information on this Site?

When you knowingly provide your personally identifiable information, we will only use your information to respond to you regarding the reason that you contacted us.  We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our Site and identify repeat visitors to our Site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you may not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our Site.  Cookies can also enable us to personalize the experience for users on our Site by remembering their browsing history and delivering content specific to their needs and interests. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our Site.

  1. Do you sell my personally identifiable information to companies that are not an affiliate of Lotus Digital, LLC?

  • You specifically authorize Lotus Digital, LLC to share your information with another company.
